With real names as Victor Efosa Uwaifo, he was born in  Edo State, Nigeria,he spent most of. his childhood in benin. City in which he was playing guitar since he was young. His interest for music stem from Spanish and american music.. he later proceeded to  Yaba College of Technology, Lagos where he studied graphics. He is a veteran Nigerian highlife artiste, he is also a sculpture and also and inventor of a music instrument.  His most popular songs includes joromi, mami water and guitar boy. During his teenage years, victor uwaifo was playing guitar for Segun Bucknor, Victor Olaiya and E.C Arinze. it was durig this period he developed his talent professionally. From there he started recording and playing on his own. He also developed his own sound rhythm.
